Invention of first camera 

The first camera was invented by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce in 1826. It was called the "Camera Obscura" and was the first device capable of capturing permanent images. The camera consisted of a wooden box with a lens at one end and a piece of photosensitive paper at the other. The photosensitive paper was coated with a mixture of silver chloride and chalk, which would darken when exposed to light.

The process of taking a photograph was slow and required a lot of preparation. The camera had to be set up in a specific location and left there for several hours to capture the image. The resulting photograph was not very clear, but it was a significant breakthrough in the field of photography.
